ReplyDeleteWhile i watched the video is obseved that when focusing on something we miss other things going on around us, i saw the gorilla but i did not notice the color change and when the other team mate stepped out of the game. That video helped me understand that sometimes the main things that is going on is not always important, and we can easily get distacted by that one thing and we miss out on everything else around us
ReplyDeleteThe first time that I watched the video I was so focused on watching the players in white and trying to see how many times they passed the ball that I completely missed the Gorilla. Looking at it the 2nd time (less focused on the players in white) I can't imagine how I missed the Gorilla. I also didn't notice the curtain changing or the player stepping out of the game until the 2nd time I viewed the video. This taught me that sometimes you have to go beyond what is asked of you. We were told to watch the players in white but there were other things to also look for. I realized that I am easily distracted and that I need to make sure that I keep my ears and eyes open for ALL things not just what is directly asked of me.
ReplyDeleteThere were 16 passes on the white team, then in the middle around 6 or 7 passes, a big ape or monkey walks into the middle, but while the monkey walked in, a person on the black team walked out of frame. And also at this time, the background turned colors from red to gold or a golden color, like yellow. I saw everything because Ive seen this video a bunch of times.
