Evolution of Beauty

During our study on identity we will discuss the concept of beauty. The world in general defines beauty by our external appearance. Several years ago, the makers of Dove soap ran a series of ads that gives visible evidence why our perception of beauty is so distorted. Facial recognition: is the technology taking away your identity?

Facial recognition is one of the latest rages in the security business. In fact, many claim that it can be a significant tool in stopping identity theft. However, in an ironic twist, some critics are claiming that facial technology actually causes more harm than good toward our identities. 

This week I want you to read the article and give the identity issues that the article is concerned about and explain how the article answers the question it poses in the title. (minimum 50 words)
