While everyone is unique in her/his own way, there are still
characteristics that are typical to the human race. Watch the video

Often we are very unsure of our relationship with God. Does He really
care for us TODAY? A proper biblical worldview allows us to understand
our relationship with God at all times. Watch the video entitled "Check
the box" and give me your thoughts in at least 50 words, Have you just felt like you needed God to 'check the box'?

Evangelical pollster George Barna says,
Over the past 20 years we have seen the nation's theological views slowly become less aligned with the Bible. Americans still revere the Bible and like to think of themselves as Bible-believing people, but the evidence suggests otherwise. Christians have increasingly been adopting spiritual views that come from Islam, Wicca, secular humanism, the eastern religions and other sources. That's because we're not reading and studying the Bible. If we don't know what God says is truth, it makes us vulnerable to believing a lie.

Comedy as a media tool
Comedy as a media tool
Comedy offers many advantages of enriching our lives. As you are already probably aware of, modern science has done extensive research on the health benefits of laughter and humor.
At the same time, comedy is also a very powerful cultural medium. First and foremost, it contributes to our mindset and the lens through which we view and interpret our lived experiences. Further, comedy gives us a familiar venue to critically consider our own intellectual growth and development and that of American society as a whole. Thus, in very substantial and meaningful ways, comedy is often used to clarify cultural norms and values. Most comedy routines, therefore, have a very specific agenda---political, ethical, economic, etc--under the guise of entertainment. Yet, to be sure, this development of comedy is not new to the millennium generation. Thus, this week I want you to watch and evaluate an older comedy routine. I want you to pinpoint the main agenda of the comedian and give your 50-word personal evaluation of his performance. Link here
