8/10 It has a good lyric melody to it and it shows the beauty of Mary and Jesus.

when the little girl open the chest, because that mean the Christmas start and to celebration Jesus birthday and celebration all did things we did,and God help us to success.

ReplyDeleteMy song was called Chrisitmas Shoes and the main message of this song was that a little boy who was poor wanted to buy a pair of shoes for his mom who was very sick in the hospital and he thinks she is going to die before christmas but he wants her to look nice if she goes to heaven tonight but he doesnt have enough money so he asked the stranger behind him to please help him out cause he knows his mother is going to die, and the man who sings the song is the stranger who helps him. The most meaningful part of the lyrics was when he said " i want her to look beautiful if mama meets Jesus tonight" be its so sweet that the little boy knows his mom is going to dis but he still wants her to look her very best no matter what. I think the sogn suggestions to other listeners on how to think is that God will take you for who you are and it doesnt matter what you have on or what you did in your life as long as you know you were saved and you gave your life to God then he will love for forever. The music is very consistent with the video because the words go right along with the video word for word. I love this video so much it makes me cry every time and its so thoughtful and sweet. My personal evaluation on this song is that i think it has very strong message towards it and everyone should watch it casue it makes you think about what you have this holiday and how something so simple as just a pair of shoes can be so important in someone else's life.

That's also the most meaningful part of the lyrics to me because even if you do go through loss or something you should try to look up to God and think about all happy times you've had in the season
The way song wants you think is that it wants you to be happy and prosperous in the new year

This video includes the music to a version of my favorite song "African Bell Carol"
This song, though wordless, is still very powerful. There are many different versions of the song, each from a different culture. This is a good example of similarities between unique groups of people.
In the video, we follow a little girl as the main character. She goes to a trunk and pulls out some items. In the trunk, we can see the word 'LOVE'. Love being an intangible object, can't run out or deteriorate over time making it timeless. The next event is quite ironic as the young girl pulls out a hour glass which is almost out of time. If you look closely, you can see that the sand in the glass is not falling revealing that time has stopped. The whole thing implies time frozen when it is almost out. This represents how in life, the end is always near but never seems as though you are moving towards it. The title of the video uses the words timeless but instead portrays life.

My favorite song is Feliz Navidad
ReplyDeleteThe main message is to tell people to have a merry Christmas and to be happy. Feliz Navidad is also a really meaningful part of the song because even if you go through something really difficult you should keep faith in God and think about all the good times and good times you will have.
The song wants you to be happy and be prosperous going into the new year. It is a joyful song with good lyrics. I honestly would give this song a 10 on a scale because it makes me happy and puts me in a good mood when I listen to it.

ReplyDeletea) The main message in my opinion is that it is Jesus's birthday, and that we need to celebrate it. It is Christmas.
b)The most meaningful part of this song is the ending in my thought. It really has a great meaning to it.
c)The songs suggestions to the listeners is that we need to celebrate Christmas in honor of the birth of Jesus Christ.
d)I think that it does go good with the lyrics, both are very complimentary of both.

"Grown up Christmas List"
ReplyDeleteA- The author is talking about how when we are young we wish for all of the material things we want and how we ask for all these toys and these things that in the end really don't mean a thing. These are the things that she wished for when she was a child but now as an adult she sees the true need of a better World and life for people and she now longs for that.
B"-But heaven only knows That packages and bows Can never heal
A hurting human soul" This is meaningful to me because it is so true especially around this time of year. Everyone talks about how the holidays make them so happy but when a person is truly heartbroken, a Christmas bow and egg nog can't heal them.
C- I believe the author I simply trying to get us to see how many people in this World are hurt and how much we need God/ a hero. She isn't trying to depress us but she wants us to see another side of the holidays.
D- The video is basically a combination of videos from her lie (ex. her time on American idol) so it doesn't not correlate.
E- Depth- 9 Creativity- 8.5
