Three Little Pigs

I know you have heard the famous story of the wolf and the three little pigs. But you probably have never heard it with such passion as this comedian will tell it. Watch the video (he will probably use words you might not have heard before) and give me your thoughts and how this relates to our Bible class in at least 50 words...due by Sunday 11/9

  2. I actually enjoyed this video. It proved that its okay to use a different variety of words and tell stories differently than others would because it just makes you more interesting to listen to.

  3. In the general story of Shakespeare written in the back of the time, he was written the story and the in information in the story did't expend, if we add little bit more Christ in the story, and like our life story should add more life story in our real life, and make our story in Christ more grateful and successful.

  4. He make the story feel as if it had come to life and we need to do that in our Bible class we have to make it to where Bibles not just a class we have to go to or I just need this to graduate we have to make this to where we love coming to Bible, that we are ready to face whatever questions Mr. Davis challenges us with, and that we are just ready to show our appreciation to God

  5. John Branyan told the story of the three little pigs in a Old English type of saying. It made him sound very intellectual and smart. He makes the story feel lively and interesting to the audience. He uses very intelligent words. Basically it relates to our understanding in bible class by having us learn and tell our story of God to people, by using more interesting words.

  6. John wanted to tell a well known story in a different way. To do so, he combined Elizabethan English with Modern English into a comedy routine. This made the story more exciting as the audience could see a more defined contrast between the 2 pigs who built their home out of weak materials and the pig with the "American-made" brick house. His routine is an example of how to tell a story that is famous, such as the story of Christ, in a more entertaining and personal way. Doing so will engage the audience more and encourage people to listen more instead of assuming that it is the exact same thing they already heard.

  7. This video was actually a nice video.I enjoyed the story and the humor that was put into it.The speaker tells the story combining modern English and old English. This allowed the audience to enjoy it because of the slang's he used and the big words. This had a message behind it because it showed you that you can make a choice deciding who you want to be.Like,if you want to become successful and make right choices you will find a group and has the same goals as you and if you don't want anything good then you will end up in a group with people who just don't care. The different words he used allowed you to see it.This also goes back to being a Christian and a follower of Jesus because, if you want to know Christ more you will need and use big and intelligent words.

  8. this was actually a great video. i enjoyed it a lot. he used shakespears language to tell the story, he used big words that we do not use much today. The speaker tells the story combining modern English and old English. it relates to our bible class by showing us that we can tell the story of jesus christ to other people using different words to make it more interesting to the listener.

  9. John told the story of the three little pigs in a different way. He used what I would say a Shakespeareans type of language and modern day English. I feel that we cab relate to that during class during our discussions when we are sharing our thoughts and stories because everyone has a different perspective

  10. he made the story come to life more with these different words. Using a normal vocabulary when telling stories can become old and boring but he used a vast variety of different words which made it far more intriguing and enjoyable to listen to. He used a Shakespearean language almost which made it way more fun and i liked it.

  11. John had a different way of telling the 3 little pigs and showed a new way of telling old folktales to people even when they know the original story and are able to laugh at it and make fun of how it differs from the original story.

  12. I loved this video. It was new and refreshing. The story was told in a new and exciting way. He used a more proper way of speaking (somewhat Shakespearean) and that alone brought the story to life. 2 main things about this spoke to me. 1. I was inspired to find creative ways to share the gospel because everyone is not the same and will not respond to the message we as Christians have in the same way. 2. Perspective is everything. We could talk about something in class or do something in class and I could have one "take-away" from it whereas someone else will have another.

  13. The way he told the store of the 3 little pigs really brought it to a new light. The english vocabulary we use today is so limited, that when we hear someone tell a store using the words that he did, it really brings the story to life and lets us look at it from a different angle.

  14. I like this video, it shows how different the world is different and has changed over time, and how different the languages were back In the day, than they are now. But I really don't know where the video goes with out bible class, but overall I liked the video!

  15. The way he tell the story of the pigs makes it very lively and real. When we have our bible discussions in the class, we always make it sound alive because we use examples of every day situations.

  16. He was telling how you can tell the same story of the three little pigs using many words. He kept the same meaning of the story and didnt change it at all. The way it relates to the Bible is how all the books in the new testament tell the story of Jesus from different writers but its still the same story.

  17. I think the way he told the story about the 3 little pigs really brought it to my attention and gave it a better meaning. It relates to our Bible class understanding because it helps us tell our story of God to people just by using more interesting/detailed words.

  18. i enjoyed the video and the way that he told the story the same way but with more words and seemed like it had a deeper meaning. He was a funny comedian with a huge vocabulary. it realates to the bible how books in the bible are not written by Jesus or God himself but of others telling the miracles of Christ through the same eyes.
